Ahead of the new edition of the AJB DOC Film Festival

Watch the best documentaries online and in Sarajevo from 10th to 14th.

Carefully selected documentaries from the region and the rest of the world return to the big screen at the fourth edition of the Al Jazeera Balkans Documentary Film Festival.

The program will also be available on the digital platform of the official festival website ajbdoc.ba

According to the organizers, all documentaries on this platform will be available for viewing without registration.

The guiding theme of the fourth AJB DOC Film Festival is Challenge, as is symbolically presented on all visual materials. This theme also serves as a link between the protagonists of this year’s documentaries, who are facing various challenges, whether they are self-imposed or put before them by the society. Nevertheless, they manage to surmount and solve the challenges that lie before them, looking for a better tomorrow, thus showing us that each of us has the ability and strength to fight and succeed.

In the context of the current social and political situation, this theme also aims to underline that the challenges the society has been facing since the beginning of the pandemic, in terms of maintaining human contact as a test for the whole mankind, can be successfully overcome.

AJB DOC Film Festival, as a project of great potential, managed to overcome the obstacles of its previous edition by taking a new approach and presenting its program online. The challenges of this year's organization will be overcome by a combination of new solutions and previously established norms.

The complete program of all four festival selections of the AJB DOC Film Festival, the three of which are held under the auspices of BH Telecom and the fourth in partnership with Samsung, will be announced soon.
