Ingrid Falck

Ingrid Falck is a multi-award winning documentary filmmaker, executive producer and commissioner with some 30 years’ experience behind her.

She won a BAFTA, two RTS awards and two Japan Prizes as well as an International Emmy nomination for her films. Until recently, she acted as the Manager of Documentaries at Al Jazeera English and was responsible for the flagship strands Witness, Al Jazeera World, Correspondent and other series and single films, sourced from filmmakers around the world. Currently she works as an independent consultant and freelance executive, working with filmmakers, broadcasters and media organisations. Her special interest is in films that challenge dominant narratives and ideas of power, agency and authority in documentary storytelling. She is based in London, but works internationally.
